This Date in Bears History

Today marks the anniversary of a special teams feat.  Despite the record-destroying rampage of this year's squad and the league's top special teams, this franchise mark still remains intact.

February 14, 1992:  The Bears scored three shorthanded goals in a 5-4 win over the Baltimore Skipjacks at Baltimore Arena, establishing the club record for most shorties in a single game.

Hershey potted two shorthanded markers against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Dec. 6, with goals from Steve Pinizzotto and Gavin Morgan.
