This Date in Bears History

Today's bit of trivia pays homage to the role of the offensive defenseman.

February 13, 1999:  Chris Armstrong scored three goals to lift the Bears to a 6-3 win over the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs at Hersheypark Arena.  Armstrong's three-goal feat is significant, as it marks the most recent hat trick by a Hershey blueliner.

Not a single Bears defenseman has registered a multi-goal night this season.
